December 27 is International Day of Epidemic Preparedness. This annual event serves as a reminder of the urgent need to have resilient and robust health systems – as well as innovative approaches that will make up the next frontier in CMC and biopharmaceutical development.

First observed in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day, and it represents an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness.
