The WCBP Symposium has established a reputation as the highest-regarded annual conference addressing the role of current and emerging CMC analytical technology among evolving US and international regulatory perspectives. 

The theme for WCBP 2025 is "Transformative Solutions". Hear from and engage with thought leaders on a wide range of topics including device/combination products challenges, microbiological considerations, breakthrough technologies for comparability and characterization, immunogenicity, and sustainability.

The theme for WCBP 2025 is "Transformative Solutions". The Symposium will bring together industry, regulatory, and academic professionals to discuss the role of current and emerging CMC analytical technology among evolving US and international regulatory perspectives. Each day will consist of plenary and parallel sessions, workshops, an exhibit hall, and technical seminars hosted by our exhibitor partners. All attendees are encouraged to review the information provided to ensure you are prepared for your experience.

In-Person Attendees

Join us for the Symposium at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington D.C., USA. Symposium registration includes all sessions January 28-30, 2025, breakfast, coffee breaks, technical seminars, access to the Exhibit Hall, and Networking Receptions. Along with all aspects of the in-person experience, you have access to the meeting mobile app and Oxford online schedule which features the final program, abstracts, and presenter’s slides (when made available), and the Symposium livestream. Be sure to save your spot for in-person attendance. Registration for in-person attendance will close January 14, 2025.

Virtual Attendees

Join us virtually from anywhere in the world for the CMC Strategy Forum and WCBP Symposium. Virtual registration includes a live-streaming broadcast of both the Forum on January 27, 2025 and the WCBP Symposium on January 28-30, 2025, including talks, panel discussions, and select technical seminars. You also have access to the Symposium website, meeting mobile app, and Oxford online schedule which features the final program, abstracts, and presenter’s slides (when made available). Be sure to save your spot for virtual attendance from anywhere in the world. Virtual registration will close January 23, 2025.

  • Mutual Recognition Agreement

  • Small Startup/Virtual Company Problems: Challenges That Are Unique to Small Companies and Academic Spaces

The deadline to be considered for an oral presentation is August 30, 2024.

Health and Safety

CASSS is committed to protecting its attendees, participants, and staff members to the highest degree possible when attending our conferences. To ensure we provide a safe environment, CASSS strongly encourages COVID-19 vaccinations, and all other routine vaccinations to protect you from infectious diseases, serious illness, and hospitalization. CASSS will follow guidances established by the facility hosting the conference and/or local and state health authorities in which the conference is located.

For the safety of all attendees, we expect everyone to take everyday preventive actions prior to, and during the conference, to stay safe and healthy. These actions include, but are not limited to:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • If you are sick, limit contact with others as much as possible to keep from infecting them.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • Wash your hands often.
  • Wearing a face mask throughout hotel common space and conference designated areas is recommended but not required.

If you tested positive for COVID-19, have been directly exposed to the virus, or exhibit any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus, you should isolate and not attend the in-person conference.

Reservations

A room block is reserved for Symposium delegates at the special group rate of $334 USD for a *single or double room (plus 14.8% occupancy tax.) The deadline to reserve your accommodations is January 1, 2025.

By staying at the host hotel, you help CASSS meet its contractual obligations and keep future registration fees reasonable. Please take this into consideration when making your accommodation decisions.
