CASSS is excited to announce the winner of the 2025 Cell and Gene Therapy Products (CGTP) Next-Generation Investigator (NGI) Award. The CGTP Symposium brings together industry, regulatory, and academic professionals to enable the exchange of scientific ideas and dialogue that form the basis of evolving regulatory practices in the development of these diverse and innovative products. Next Generation Investigator Awards are an excellent opportunity for graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and early career industrial scientists to meet, network, and participate in exchanging knowledge with industry peers from across the world with waived registration and grants to offset travel expenses.
The 2025 award winner is Lily Motabar, University of Delaware.
Lily Motabar, University of Delaware
Lily Motabar is a fourth year PhD candidate in the Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Delaware. She is also a guest researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Her thesis research focuses on investigating the stability of monoclonal antibody (mAb) and adeno-associated virus vector formulations via characterization of biophysical attributes, including protein self-interactions, higher order structure, and aggregation. Prior to her graduate research, she performed purification process development for mAbs, bispecific antibodies, and viral vectors at AstraZeneca.
