Pioneering a New Future

It is with great pleasure to invite you to WCBP 2022. The theme for WCBP's 25th anniversary celebration is "Pioneering a New Future". The COVID-19 pandemic brought forward unique challenges for the biopharmaceutical industry. The pandemic brought with it disruption that impacted both our professional and personal lives. Our 'return to normal' is a daily reminder that the 'new normal' will be something altogether different than what it was before.

WCBP 2022 will be a celebration of our new future as a biopharmaceutical community. The program will kick-off with challenging our past assumptions based on our learnings over the pandemic years. The discussion will continue with a look forward and consider what this new era of biopharmaceutical development will need to be to meet future challenges. Finally, we will ask ourselves, how will we maintain this pace of innovation in an increasingly complex global environment?

The WCBP Scientific Organizing Committee is excited to welcome everyone, returning and new, for a program that has been two years in the making. For many, the importance of the CASSS community for both professional development and personal connection has only been emphasized by the pandemic. CASSS has been working non-stop to meet these needs by providing a hybrid in-person and virtual experience that is inclusive, interactive and fun!
