Important Attendee Deadlines
Wednesday, 2 October 2024 | Hotel Accommodations

Last day to reserve your hotel accommodations at the host hotel at the special group rate. Please note: program registration does not include lodging, so be sure to book your hotel room before the deadline.

Last day to register for your badge. Registration closes at 5 PM Pacific (PDT).

Join us at the DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre in Rotterdam, Netherlands for CMC Strategy Forum Europe 2024! The DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre is centrally located at the foot of the Erasmus Bridge. Panoramic rooms off an unprecedented view of the skyline of the port of the city. Located in the center of Rotterdam, with a metro and tram stop right outside our front door, take in the sunset from the Erasmusbrug bridge which is just a few minutes away. Enjoy views from Euromast which is under 2 kilometers from us. We offer a wellness club which includes a heated indoor pool and fitness room. Nine meeting rooms are available.

Reservations
A room block is reserved for Symposium delegates at the special group rate of 205€ EUR for a single room or 239€ EUR for a double room* (plus city tax and 6.5% occupancy tax). The reservation rate includes breakfast and Wi-Fi. The deadline to reserve your accommodations was 2 October 2024. The Maashotel Rotterdam Centre requires a credit card to guarantee your reservation. At the time you make your reservation, you will be notified of the date you may cancel your reservation free of charge. The cancellation date is based on your arrival date. 

After 2 October 2024, reservations will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. We recommend that attendees book their hotel accommodations well before the deadline to secure this rate.

NOTE: Check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 12:00pm.

Parking and Transportation
DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre is conveniently located in the center of Rotterdam, with a metro, and tram stop right outside the hotel's front door. Self-parking, valet parking, and EV charging are also available onsite for a fee. 

For those traveling to Rotterdam by plane, the Hague Airport is the Netherlands' third largest airport and is located just north of Rotterdam (10 km away from the DoubleTree by Hilton Rotterdam Centre). You can also fly into Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (60 km from the Forum hotel) and take a train to Rotterdam Centraal Station. 

The hotel does not offer an airport shuttle, but it does offer direct access for water taxi boarding. 

U.S. Federal Government Rates
A government rate block is not available. Please contact the Symposium Manager, Carolyn Slade at cslade@casss.org for more information. 

By staying at the host hotel, you help CASSS meet its contractual obligations and keep future registration fees reasonable. Please take this into consideration when making your accommodation decisions.

*Room types are not guaranteed and are based on availability when the individual reservation is made.

Health and Safety

CASSS is committed to protecting its attendees, participants, and staff members to the highest degree possible when attending our conferences. To ensure we provide a safe environment, CASSS strongly encourages COVID-19 vaccinations, and all other routine vaccinations to protect you from infectious diseases, serious illness, and hospitalization. CASSS will follow guidances established by the facility hosting the conference and/or local and state health authorities in which the conference is located.

For the safety of all attendees, we expect everyone to take everyday preventive actions prior to, and during the conference, to stay safe and healthy. These actions include, but are not limited to:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • If you are sick, limit contact with others as much as possible to keep from infecting them.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • Wash your hands often.

Wearing a face mask throughout hotel common space and conference designated areas is recommended but not required.

If you tested positive for COVID-19, have been directly exposed to the virus, or exhibit any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus, you should isolate and not attend the in-person conference.

CASSS is committed to monitoring the local status for in-person conferences and will update our guidelines as necessary. Registrants will be informed about any changes through various communication channels, including email and website, as needed.

FAQs

Will the speaker presentations be available post-program?

Yes, the sessions with approved sharing permissions will be available. Resources will be available 3-4 weeks post-event. All registered attendees will be alerted via email when content is available.

Will I receive any materials as an attendee?

As a registered attendee, you will receive the following: name badge, lanyard, padfolio, and pen. You also have the option to personalize your name badge at registration check-in with custom ribbons to identify your attendee role, such as First-Time Attendee, Committee Member, Associate Director, and more. In addition to these resources, you will have access to snacks and drinks during the session breaks.

Is There a Dress Code?

The dress code we suggest is business casual. Meeting rooms are often on the cooler side, so please remember to bring a jacket or sweater as room and body temperatures do vary.
