Welcome to the CMC Strategy Forum Japan

The CMC Strategy Forum Japan is a leading scientific meeting that convenes regulatory, industry, and academic experts to address emerging CMC issues in biotechnology through open, transparent workshops. The Forum explores critical topics that define the biotech industry’s challenges, emphasizing CMC issues across a product's lifecycle. The CMC Strategy Forum works with industry and regulatory agencies to harmonize scientific and regulatory practices. Adhering to the established CMC Forum series model, the Forum highlights topics and regulatory updates pertinent to Japan and the Asia/Pacific Region.

In-Person Attendees

CMC Strategy Forum Japan will be held at the Tokyo Marriott Hotel, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Forum registration includes all sessions on 9-10 December 2024, breakfast, lunch, and a Welcome Reception. Along with all aspects of the in-person experience, you have access to the meeting mobile app and Oxford online schedule which features the final program, abstracts, and presenter’s slides (when made available). This Forum features simultaneous translation in English and Japanese. Registration will close 22 November 2024.

Health & Safety

CASSS is committed to protecting its attendees, participants, and staff members to the highest degree possible when attending our conferences. To ensure we provide a safe environment, CASSS strongly encourages COVID-19 vaccinations, and all other routine vaccinations to protect you from infectious diseases, serious illness, and hospitalization. CASSS will follow guidances established by the facility hosting the conference and/or local and state health authorities in which the conference is located.

For the safety of all attendees, we expect everyone to take everyday preventive actions prior to, and during the conference, to stay safe and healthy. These actions include, but are not limited to:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • If you are sick, limit contact with others as much as possible to keep from infecting them.
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze.
  • Wash your hands often.

Wearing a face mask throughout hotel common space and conference designated areas is recommended but not required.

If you tested positive for COVID-19, have been directly exposed to the virus, or exhibit any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus, you should isolate and not attend the in-person conference. All in-person registrants have access to the virtual platform (if applicable) so you may participate in the conference in a virtual-only manner.

CASSS is committed to monitoring the local status for in-person conferences and will update our guidelines as necessary. Registrants will be informed about any changes through various communication channels, including email and website, as needed.

Forum attendees are encouraged to book their rooms early directly through the reservation link above. There is no room block reserved for attendees of this meeting. As an attendee, you may reserve at the special group rate of 49,991 JPY for a single* or 53,991 JPY for a double* (plus 10% occupancy tax). The deadline to reserve your accommodations is Monday, 18 November 2024.
